God loves a cheerful giver

"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
2 Corinthians 9:7 (ESV) 

Scripture tells us that giving is an act of worship. It acknowledges God’s gracious provision and our awareness that everything we have ultimately belongs to Him. While the tithe isn’t specifically re-stated in the New Testament, the principle of giving sacrificially and cheerfully is. At ABC, we don’t pass offering plates because we never want anyone to give “under compulsion,” but we encourage you to give using the offering plates on the table in the foyer or using online methods.
